This report about what I learned in period 1 of CAD. I will talk about what I learnt about in \u201cKunst uit het Vuistje\u201d, The process with which I created my stop motion and how the movie \u201cJ\u2019ai perdu mon Corpse\u201d made me feel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I liked the \u201cKunst uit het Vuistje\u201d exercises, especially the ones about camera work. My father and uncle are both photographers and my uncle and his wife even have a wedding photography busines. The biggest effect that \u201cKunst uit het Vuistje\u201d had on me is that I am looking at movies differently. Every time I watch a movie now, I start analysing it and thinking about how they filmed certain things. This is a double-edged sword because it\u2019s interesting to think about, but it takes away from the emersion. It is annoying because I get distracted and think about how they made the movie and less about the story. So overall it was fun and interesting, but I developed some annoying habits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Making the stop motion was very hard for me. I\u2019m a very unartistic person so I thought I could make a stop motion using Knex. Making a stop motion out of Knex was a horrible idea because they were constantly falling over, and I spent way too much time just messing around. At the beginning of the quarantine I was so bored that I started sorting all my Knex. All this sorting is now destroyed because I needed the pieces I used for sorting. My time management was horrible. I put it of way to long and then I didn\u2019t have time to fix some problems I had. One of the problems was the lighting. I started filming at midday and as the sun went down the lighting and shadows changed. I had a lot of light pointed at it but I should have closed my window to stop the sun interfering. I wasn\u2019t happy with the result but I\u2019m never happy with things I make even when they are ok.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
